Space tripper is a stunning modern arcade shoot-em-up, combining the manic gameplay of classics such as defender, with loads of enemies, big bosses, power-ups and a sore trigger finger.

Fly you spacecraft over enemy platforms, blasting everything in your path. Once each level has been cleared of all enemies, then you can progress to the next stage. Simple? ....then try it and see! Be warned. This is one seriously great shoot-em-up.

Space tripper brings you the very best in retro arcade gaming.

No story, No background, No plot and No friends.

It's just blast or be blasted.

Inspired from Williams arcade classic , 'Defender', Space Tripper delivers probably the most furious shoot-em-up of the modern era, combined with state of the art graphics. If you like your video games tough and very addictive with a hint of Retro Amiga gameplay, then this for you.

Everything you need comes included. A fast, highly manouvarable craft. Enough gun power to take out the universe. Absolutely loads of enemies to obliterate, and some seriously mean bosses. Nothing else comes close for that classic arcade experience.

Winner of -> PC gamer: Game of Distinction award and EDGE award for excellence.

This second level from the aztec world is nasty. Not only do you have to knock down pillars to stop tumbling blocks from spawning, but you also have to look out for these huge wheels of death at the same time. Eek. A surprisingly easy penultimate level leads on to a more challenging final boss. Still, after the nightmare that was level 4-2 you should have no problems taking it out.
Argh, a huge snake monster! Annoy him by shooting the warts on his side and he'll open his big yellow eye. Shoot him in it a few times and he explodes. Woo! The second boss is this big tank. Once you are powered up a bit, he is surprisingly easy to destroy. Knock out the shields on the front and fry his generator. Watch out for the mini tanks he spawns.
Level 2 of the alien infested world begins with a HUGE swarm of small slugs crawling towards you from both sides. After a manic start, things settle down as this slightly dull shot shows. The second world sees things getting a little more interesting with generators which need destroying. Break down the shields to access the generators before blasting apart the generators themselves to stop enemies spawning.
A level into the first world sees a large flying saucer split into lots of little nasty flying saucers. Run away! The first boss in Space Tripper is this beefy looking (but six legged) spider. Wait for him to open up and fry his insides with blue laser death.
